we forgot why consumers like small businesses and organizations

marketing has become about buy, buy, buy, sell, sell, sell instead of help, help, help. customers are looking for someone to help them and 63% of the time they prefer to buy from a local business or organization.

getting personal help is why customers buy from local businesses and organizations. they also want to feel connected to a person, not a company. the more we use this approach in our marketing the more we will provide what customers really want - > a helpful, real relationship with a person or entity that they know.

local businesses and organizations have a huge advantage over big box, national and e-commerce companies, they are real people who can provide help.
